Knot “Escher” 5020 unusual mobile

Check Wikipedia under “Escher”, an artist. He did design this knot, and we used his drawings to realize it in 3-D.

We used copper as the base material. The mobile is weatherproof, the copper metal can darken slightly over time, but can be polished up again at any time. Please note that each mobile is made as a unique piece, so the dimensions are always different. The connection (of course the “thing” has a beginning and an end) is visible as a very small silver stripe

Made out of 5 mm copper tube. The tube will be filled with sand and then heated to become bendable  Formed into that intricate knot-like shape. The two ends will be soldered and smoothened. Then the object is brushed, polished.
This unusual mobile is fascinating. You may place it on the table – or hang it from the ceiling with an ultra-thin Nylon thread. (we will enclose it.)
Hanging from the ceiling is how it will show its best, the slightest breeze will make it move and mov and move… and show its intricing views.
Please bear in mind: the object is rather large with some 15 to 18 cm and height c.a.  10 cm.
Usually we do ship worldwide with no charge, but in this case shipping is rather complicated… and costly.
