Maia 1048 – an ultra light copper bracelet

The Maia copper bangle, 2.5 mm thick and 3.5 mm wide, weighing just under 10 grams – our lightest, slimmest and most delicate bangle – hand-forged for your arm in Munich …

and this is how we made it:
A round bar, 3mm diameter, (long according to your measurements) made of solid copper. Forged flat on our large anvil to a material thickness of about 2.5 mm. The ends are ground round, then the inner and outer sides are finely ground and polished. Forged into an oval shape on our tailstock, polished again… and then. wrapped, put in a bubble envelope, address label with the tracking code on it … and off to the post office … and then the bracelet will soon be in your letterbox.

As the bracelet was made exactly to your specifications (please always measure precisely, here is the video tutorial), it fits very precisely on the front of the wrist. As it is only about 3.5 mm wide, the bracelet is very comfortable to wear and is surprisingly light at just 10 grams – you will forget it is on your arm after a few moments. The copper bangle is suitable for everyday use without any particular strain. Not suitable for sports activities such as golf or tennis. Absolutely waterproof.

Here about copper: This bracelet is hand-forged from solid copper, so the skin contact is exclusively copper. Although this has not been scientifically proven, many people report that a copper bracelet helps with inflammation, muscle tension, joint pain and rheumatic complaints.
